Turkey has no intention to interfere in domestic issues of countries, PM Erdogan says

ISTANBUL (A.A) - November 19, 2011 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday that Turkey had no intention to interfere in the domestic issues of countries. Speaking at the "World Turkish Entrepreneurs Congress" organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board at the Lutfi Kirdar Congress and Exhibition Center in Istanbul, Erdogan said that, unlike certain countries who only care about oil wells, Turkey was concerned about the bloodshed and tears in Baghdad, Jerusalem, Gaza, Benghazi, Tripoli and Sirte. For the past 9 years, we have told the international community that Syria should not be alienated. At the same time, we received promises from the Syrian administration for reforms. During this 9 year period, Turkish-Syrian friendship contributed to Syria and the Syrian people. Unfortunately, the Syrian administration did not keep the promises made, Erdogan said. We wish, as Turkey, for Syria to reach domestic tranquility for the sake of regional peace and stability, Erdogan said. -Summit- The "World Turkish Entrepreneurs Congress", with the participation of 2,200 entrepreneurs from 90 countries, is promising for Turkey and other countries, Erdogan said. When you return back to your countries in which you live, please convey my and the Turkish nation's regards to the peoples there. Please tell your friends that Turkey will always be a friend with its strong economy, active foreign policy, defense of rights and laws, and love for humanity. Do tell about our efforts to facilitate co-existence with the global civilizations under the 'Alliance of Civilizations' project. I wish you all success, Erdogan also said.
