Tunisian Foreign Minister Praises HH The Heir Apparent's Visit to Tunisia

Tunis, August 08 (QNA) - Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafiq Abdel-Salam described the visit of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani to Tunisia mid-July as "successful" praising its results. Abdel-Salam said during a press conference held here today, that the visit was culminated with the signing of a series of cooperation agreements between the State of Qatar and Tunisia in several areas, noting that the Tunisian-Qatari relations are witnessing significant progress, which helps the interest of both countries and Arab states in general. On the other hand, the Tunisian Foreign Minister pointed out that the date of the Maghreb Summit in Tunisia, is still under negotiation with other member states (Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Mauritania), noting the high level contact with them to ensure its success. He stressed that it is important for the summit to be held and to come with satisfactory results that give new impetus to cooperation and integration of Maghreb. He denied any disagreement regarding the draft final statement of the summit. (QNA)
