Tribute to Bahraini women

Manama, Dec.2 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder honoured female employees marking the annual Bahraini Women's Day. The ceremony was held at the Sheraton Hotel in the presence of directors and other personnel. The minister extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), hailing her dedicated efforts to empower women and bolster their role in national development, being essential partnera in the march of development and progress. Addressing the ceremony, he pointed out that women employees make up 33 per cent (33%) of the overall ministry's staff.
