Traffic plan for Bahrain Airshow

Manama, Jan.19- (BNA): General Directorate of Traffic has designed a traffic plan for the Bahrain International Airshow that will be held from January 21 to 23. The plan includes more traffic deployment to ensure smooth traffic flow to the Sukhair Airbase. The arrival of invitees, heads of official delegations and the public will be through Al Muaskar road and Shaikh Salman road to the main Awali roundabout towards Al Zallaq road from the west to the southern Awali roundabout. This roundabout will the entrance of camper in Sukahir and the employees of companies in the area. The route of Zallaq road at the traffic signal of the junction of Sukahir’s entrance until the Sukhair Palace roundabout will be allocated for invitees, heads of delegation, car holders and authorised persons. They have to make U-turn towards the junction of Sukahir entrance to reach the Sukahir Airbase by entering the specific gates for them. The route for the public will be from the traffic signal’s junction of Rashid Equestrian Club to the traffic signal of the Bahrain Bay road in Zallaq, and then left to the entrance of Bahrain International Circuit for the public parking lots. They will be moved by buses to the airbase. The department called upon the public to cooperate with the traffic police and follow traffic rules. The public should stick the sticker on the rear window, while campers should use roads allocated for them to avoid traffic jams.
