Third Meeting of Heads of Qatar's Diplomatic and Consular Missions Abroad

Doha, August 08 (QNA) - HE Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ali bin Fahad Al-Hajri presided over the third meeting of heads of Qatar's diplomatic and consular missions abroad, in the presence of HE Assistant Secretary for Services Affairs Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, HE Assistant Minister for International Cooperation Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Jabor Al Thani, departments' directors and all the heads of diplomatic missions abroad. The meeting discussed arrangements for the general conference of heads of diplomatic and consular missions abroad to be held in December, as well as preparations made in terms of participants and the working papers provided to activate the diplomacy and the role of Qatari embassies and consulates in making the implementation of Qatar's foreign policy during the next phase a success. The meeting addressed ways to strengthen and develop relations between Qatar and countries of the world as well as ways to develop the work of Qatari embassies and diplomatic missions abroad in order to keep pace with the leading role of Qatar's foreign policy in accordance with the directions and visions of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
