Third International Qatari Agricultural Exhibition Kicks Off Tuesday

Doha, March 12 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Third International Qatari Agricultural Exhibition will be opened by HE Minister of Environment, Abdullah bin Mubarak bin Aabboud Al-Moudadi tomorrow, Tuesday at Qatar International Exhibition Centre. The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be attended by a number of agriculture ministers from friendly countries and senior officials and producers involved in the agricultural sector in the world. They exhibition will also witness the participation of many major companies, regional and international institutions, experts and specialists from the agricultural sector worldwide. The three-day exhibition is a good opportunity to exchange expertise, ideas and successful experiences in the field of agriculture, and is also an opportunity to showcase the latest agricultural technologies and modern farming equipment . Eight agricultural and environmental departments from the Ministry of the Environment participate in the exhibition, as well as school students, and the concerned government bodies such as the Aspire and Hassad Company, in addition to major companies in the field of production, and food security, besides about 67 specialized international companies.
