Thai PM seeks cooperation from all parties to fight worst flooding

BANGKOK, November 7 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has sought cooperation from all parties to quickly resolve the country's ongoing flooding crisis, the worst in more than half a century. Yingluck said on Monday, when visiting and handing out relief packs to flood victims in Bangkok's Lak Si area, that all parties and sectors in the country should now work together to fight against vast inundations, insisting that her administration will continue to perform the best against the ongoing natural disaster. Calling for a stop on all non-constructive ploys and motives and a justice for her government's full attempts to end the historic flooding, the Pheu Thai premier affirmed that she is willing to work with everybody. The premier's repeated call followed criticisms that her administration has, so far, failed to timely resolve flooding in some 12 spots. (TNA)
