Thai-Cambodian GBC Meeting Set In Dec

BANGKOK, November 28 (TNA) - Thai Defence Minister General Yuthasak Sasiprapa said Monday that the new Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting was set to be held in Cambodia next month. General Yuthasak told reporters that the agenda of the upcoming Thai-Cambodian GBC meeting has been approved by the Thai Parliament, acknowledging that the Thai side is now waiting for Cambodia's arrangement. According to the defence minister, issues to be raised at the forthcoming Thai-Cambodian GBC meeting include a planned realignment of both Thai and Cambodian troops along the common border. The Thai defence minister expressed his optimism that the next GBC meeting between Thai authorities and their Cambodian counterparts will come out with positive results. (TNA)
