Texas A&M University at Qatar Hosts WCEE 2013

Doha, January 05 (QNA) - Texas A&M University at Qatar organizes and hosts the World Congress on Engineering Education "WCEE 2013" from 7-9 January. Engineering educators from around the region and globe take part in this three-day event to promote and exchange ideas and discuss their experience in instructional excellence, engineering education research, entrepreneurism, new models for collaborative engineering education, and leadership. The aim of the WCEE 2013 congress is to provide a forum for researchers, engineers and academicians from all over the world to present and disseminate their research results and development activities on modern engineering education. It also provides a platform to exchange ideas about effective techniques and pedagogies to prepare the new generations of engineers for the global challenges. The congress is also intended to serve as a forum to encourage the involvement of corporate decision makers, as well as public policy makers, to convey their opinion regarding the needs and type of theoretical and practical hands-on trainings the modern engineering graduate is expected to possess. The future trend in engineering education and instructional quality as well as the resources required to deliver a world-class education are significant issues expected to be addressed by this annual event.
