Tasweeq Participates in the Qatar Career Fair

Doha, April 01 (QNA) - Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd. (Tasweeq) has announced that it will participate, as part of the energy and industry sector, in the Qatar Career Fair 2012, which opened today at the Qatar Exhibition Centre and will run through April 5. The exhibition represents the ultimate platform and forum for the company to meet with graduates who are likely to become part of its workforce, Tasweeq stated in a press release on Sunday The company attracts and hires Qatari calibers from among graduates, employees, and professionals to hold different positions as part of the strategic Qatarization process based on Qatar's 2030 vision, said Executive Director of Tasweeq Saad Abdullah Al-Kuwari. Al-Kuwari added that the Qatarization program adopted by the higher board in Tasweeq continuously develops with consistent success for the fifth year in a row, as the current workforce at the company totals 149, 59 of which are Qatari nationals, which is the equivalent of 40% of the whole staff. Tasweeq aims at raising the percentage of Qatari employees to 50% by 2015. Tasweeq was founded in July 2007 and is wholly owned by the Government of the State of Qatar. It is responsible for the export marketing of Regulated Products comprising liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), refined products, condensates and sulphur as well as crude oil and GTL entitlements from Qatar to the world.
