Syrian President Receives Lami And Praises The Role Of Media And Congratulates Iraq On Its Victory Over Terrorism

Baghdad- NINA- The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, on Tuesday received the head of the Federation of Arab Journalists and the delegation of the General Secretariat of the Federation and praised the effective and influential role of media in the facing the terrorist organizations and blessed Iraq and the Arab nation for the decisive victory over those factions that wanted to destroy all without exception. President al-Assad explained the nature of the battle that Syria has waged against the various terrorist organizations, which came from several countries to kill the Syrian people and destroy the components of its state, expressing his appreciation for Iraq's positions and praising its decisive and influencing victory over Daesh organization and the return of security and stability to its territory. For his part, President of the Federation of Arab Journalists Muayyad al-Lami congratulated President al-Assad for the great victory of the Syrian people on terrorism in various areas where it was present. Al-Lami stressed that the Arab journalists and their Federation were decisive in their positions to denounce terrorism and terrorists and convey the true picture of the crimes committed by these groups against the peoples, stressing that the sacrifices of journalists were very important to achieve those victories.
