Syrian Opposition Leader Praises Arab Backing Of Revolution

Doha , March 26 (QNA) - President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Moaz Al Khatib praised Tuesday Qatar's support to the Syrian revolution. He also lauded the speech of HH the Emir, which Al Khatib said was fully supportive of the rights of the Syrian people. Al Khatib added that he felt that sentiment from all the Arab leaders he met. He also commended the position of the Arab nations towards the revolution, which he said was stronger than that of the international community. He highlighted offering the the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces the right to represent the Syrian people in the Arab League as an example of the difference between the positions of the Arab nations and the international community. He described the actions of the international community as more hesitant. On the opposition's future plans, Al-Khatib said that they were currently focusing on forming the new cabinet under the leadership of Ghassan Hito. Al Khatib stressed that the Syrian people need all the support possible to lift the tragedy they suffer. (QNA)
