Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) has extended profound condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi government and the entire Islamic Nation over the victims of the collapse of a construction crane used in the expansion work at Makkah Grand Mosque, which left dozens of people dead or wounded. In a statement issued today, the SCIA prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His Mercy on the victims, bless their families with fortitude and solace and grant the wounded speedy recovery. The panel valued highly the tremendous humanitarian efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in treating the wounded immediately after the crash and providing them with the necessary medical care.
