Students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology to intern in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 23, 2022 / Kabar /. Students from various faculties of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which is one of the most prestigious technical educational institutions in the U.S. and in the world, will be sent to Kyrgyzstan to intern in Kyrgyz companies, Aziz Abakirov, founder of the High-Tech Park of Kyrgyzstan told with reference to Avigail Menashe, director of the Kyrgyz Software and Service Developers Association (KSSDA). “Great news! The new global world opens up opportunities for Kyrgyz IT. We held a presentation on the potential of Kyrgyzstan in IT at MIT, the top technical university and discussed the possibility of sending MIT students from various faculties for internships in Kyrgyz companies,” she wrote. Internships would be organized through the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI), MIT’s office for international experiential learning.
