State Foreign Minister receives Portuguese Ambassador's credentials

Manama: April 10 -- (BNA): Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain received the Riyadh-based Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal Manuel Carvalho who presented to the Minister a copy of his credentials as Ambassador of his country to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Minister praised the current friendly ties between Bahrain and Portugal citing the bilateral friendship relations. The meeting explored cooperation, coordination and issues of bilateral interest. The Ambassador praised the progress of bilateral relations, wishing to further growth and development of these relations in line with the aspirations of the two countries. (IY) I.Y
