Sri Lankan Prime Minister Meets Qatari Ambassador

Colombo, June 02 (QNA) - Prime Minister of the Republic of Sri Lanka D. M. Jayaratne met with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Said bin Abdullah Al-Mansouri on the occasion of the expiry of his tour of duty. The Sri Lankan Prime Minister hailed the relations between the two countries, noting the efforts made by HE Ambassador Al-Mansouri in developing these relations during his tenure. The Sri Lankan Premier wished the Ambassador success in his future missions, and the relations between the two countries further development and prosperity. For his part, Ambassador Al-Mansouri expressed thanks for the Sri Lankan Prime Minister and officials at the Sri Lankan government for the cooperation he received during his tenure. (QNA)
