Sri Lankan President Meets Qatari Ambassador

Colombo, May 26 (QNA) - President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa met here today with Qatar's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Said bin Abdullah Al Mansouri, whose term of office has expired. During the meeting the Ambassador conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and their wishes of best of health and happiness to him and further development and progress to the government and people of Sri Lanka. For his part, the Sri Lankan President entrusted the Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent wishing them best of health and happiness and the State of Qatar and its people further progress and prosperity.(QNA)
