Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets HE Qatari Ambassador

Colombo, May 23 (QNA) - Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs, G.L Peiris has met with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Saeed bin Abdullah Al Mansouri, on the occasion of the expiry of his tour of duty in the country. During the audience, the Sri Lankan Minister voiced thanks and appreciation for whatever assistances qatar has offered Sri Lanka in the various domains. G.L Peiris also highly praised and commended the tireless efforts exerted by the outgoing Qatari ambassador during his term of office for enhancing bonds of cooperation and friendship between Qatar and Sri Lanka, wishing him futher success in his future mission. HE the Qatari Ambassador Al Mansoori, on his part also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister and officials in the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry for their cooperation throughout his tenure as ambassador of Qatar to Sri Lanka, which he said , has much contributed to strengthening bonds of of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.(QNA)
