Speaker stresses late servicemen's distinguished status

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has stressed that the fallen servicemen enjoy a distinguished position in the hearts of everyone, noting that the sacrifices they made while carrying out their patriotic duties will remain engraved in the memory of the nation. She affirmed that the late servicemen are worthy of all kinds of appreciation and honouring as they fell in the line of duty while defending the kingdom’s security and stability, stressing the need to return the favour to their relatives. She pointed out that the minute of silence observed by the Council of Representatives during Tuesday’s session aimed at paying homage to the late servicemen and affirming their distinguished status. The speaker expressed deepest respect for all points of view posted on social media networks in recognition of the sacrifices made by fallen servicemen, and in support of their relatives.
