Speaker receives Algerian Ambassador

Manama, May 17 (BNA): Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla stressed the importance of supporting joint Arab projects and increasing cooperation in vital areas, investing resources and energies to help boost the volume of commercial exchange and benefiting from mutual expertise in various domains. Al Mulla said the upcoming period will see more parliamentary cooperation between the Council of Representatives and its Algerian counterpart, the announcement of a parliamentary friendship committee and the exploration of coordination of stances at international functions which serves the interest of both countries and peoples. The Speaker received the Ambassador of Algeria to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Al Sayeh Kadri, on the occasion of presenting his credentials as ambassador of his country to Bahrain, asserting the Council's support to all efforts and works of the ambassador in serving and boosting the bilateral ties and common interests.
