Speaker of the Qatar Advisory Council Heads to Kuwait

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Kholeifi left Doha Monday afternoon for Kuwait heading Qatar's delegation to the 19th conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, scheduled to kick off Tuesday in Kuwait. The conference agenda features several topics, including the election of the Conference officers (President, Vice President, Secretary-General), the President's report on its activity and the activity of the Executive Committee since the eighteenth conference. The agenda also includes the report of the Secretary-General on the situation of the Union, its activities since the Eighteenth Conference , in addition to the interventions of the participating heads of parliament and heads of delegations on the current Arab situation and the plan of action for the Union for 2013.
