Speaker congratulates Turkish counterpart

Manama, July 18 (BNA): Speaker Ahmed Ebrahim Al Mulla sent a cable of support to Turkish Parliament's Speaker Ismail Kahraman, affirming Bahrain's parliamentary support to all measures taken by the Republic of Turkey to maintain its national security and safety. The Speaker congratulated his Turkish counterpart on the legitimate authorities' successful restoration of stability and preserving the country's accomplishments and gains. Al Mulla stressed his rejection of anything that might undermine the constitutional legitimacy under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his elected government. Al Mulla condemned the brutal attack against the Turkish parliament and expressed his trust that the Turkish government will proceed with national development and building in the interest of its people and future, and boost Turkey's outstanding ties with Arab, Islamic and friendly countries.
