Speaker congratulates HRH Premier on global award

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla has extended sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa on obtaining the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award. "The award is a proof of the international recognition of HRH Premier’s pioneering role in supporting and promoting technology and achieving the sustainable development goals at the local and global levels, as well as his vision which led to the remarkable progress witnessed by the kingdom in the technological, electronic, information and communication fields," Al-Mulla said. The Speaker asserted that the kingdom will continue its development and progress, bring about landmark achievements and gain more international praise under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praying to Allah Almighty to preserve the Bahraini leadership and people and guide them on the right path.
