Speaker Confirms The Importance of Mobilizing International and Regional Efforts to Support Iraq

BAGHDAD / NINA / House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri confirmed the importance of mobilizing international and regional efforts to support Iraq in its security and economic challenges. A statement by the Information Office of the House speaker said al-Jubouri, today met Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mubshir Javed, during the meeting, they discussed the overall situation on the local and regional arenas, as well as bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all fields. He stressed the importance of mobilizing international and regional efforts to support Iraq to face the security and economic challenges, explaining that this would speed up overcoming crises and to ensure the maintenance of security and stability of the country. The statement noted that the two sides discussed the re-displaced people and liberated areas from Daesh and ways to provide humanitarian relief and service to them and ensure speeding their return back to their liberated areas, especially that Iraq needs international possibilities to save them from their suffering and rebuild their cities. / End
