Konyrova / Some of "Ozenmunaygaz" ("OMG") workers did not come to work at night and early morning shifts on December 16 and 17 because of riots in the city of Zhanaozen of Mangistau region in Kazakhstan, the press service of KMG reported. "Partial absenteeism of the OMG workers was fixed at the night and morning shifts on December 16 and 17, 2011. This is because workers fear for their safety and the safety of their families.
