Solidarity visit with Palestinians continues

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Bahrain-Al-Quds friendship Committee's delegation led by Abdulaziz Al-Abassi is currently on a solidarity visit to Palestine to support Palestinian people in their confrontation against the Israeli occupation. It also targets fulfilling humanitarian obligation toward families of the martyrs. Al-Abassi said that the visit intends to bolster fraternal relations between Bahraini and Palestinian people. He added it reflects the determination of the Bahraini people, out of their historical duty toward the Palestinians' just cause, to open channels of support to back the fair demands of the Palestinian people. Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain, Taha Abdulqader received the Bahraini delegation and hailed Bahrain's solidarity with the Palestinian people in response to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' call of solidarity with the Palestinian people. He expressed gratitude to delegation members for their solidarity with the Palestinian people, underlining Palestine's urgent need for Arab and Islamic solidarity and support against Israel's policy of Judaization of occupied city of Al-Qudis. He said that the delegation's visit has coincided with the conclusion of the visit of the Royal Charity Organization's delegation led by Sec-Gen Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, where he inaugurated the Bahrain Public Library in the old city of Al-Quds.
