Solid Bahraini-Jordanian relations hailed

Manama, Sept. 20 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the Jordanian House of Representatives Speaker Atef Tarawneh and a high-level Jordanian parliamentary delegation, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The commander-in-chief lauded the long-standing bilateral relations, strengthened thanks to the directives of both the countries' leaderships. They discussed matters of mutual interest, and ways to enhance the solid bilateral ties. The Jordanian delegation was briefed about the stages of forming BDF military units and achievements era in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and a number of BDF senior officers were present.
