The meeting focused on the cooperation between the customs and private sector to maintain the customs security by ensuring the imported goods are free of prohibited substances, and not to deal with the suspected sources and parties. The meeting emphasized that customs clearing agents shall be committed to clearing the customs goods without delay, similarly committing the importers to the instructions of importing goods. The meeting recommended the implementation of the Single Window customs clearance system to streamline clearing goods from customs departments.
