Shura Council: Martyrdom of Bahraini soldiers is an assertion of fraternal unity between Bahrain and GCC countries

Manama, Sept. 4 (BNA): The Shura Council extended heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Bahraini people and the martyrs' families on the martyrdom of the five Bahraini soldiers while performing their sacred national duty in defending legitimacy in Yemen alongside the Saudi-led Arab coalition force. The council stressed, in a statement, that the martyrdom of the five Bahraini soldiers to defend the right and the march of joint solidarity is an assertion of fraternal unity and common destiny binding Bahrain and its brethren Arab countries. The Shura Council emphasised Bahrain's resolve to make utmost sacrifices for the sake of regional security and stability as well as the Arab nation's present and future. It affirmed the need to boost security and peace to confront major challenges in this critical phase of the Arab nation's history. The council reiterated support to all steps aimed at maintaining security, stability and territorial integrity in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, praying to Allah Almighty to protect all Arab countries from seditions and bestow on them security and stability. It also extended deep-felt condolences to the UAE on the martyrdom of its soldiers in the ongoing military operations in Yemen, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
