Shura Council delegation to Japan meets GCC ambassadors

Tokyo, May 1 (BNA)-- The Shura Council's Friendship Committee for East Asian Countries delegation met the GCC ambassadors during a dinner banquet hosted by Bahraini Ambassador to Japan Dr. Khalil Hassan in their honour, in the presence of Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Shigeki Sumi. The GCC ambassadors emphasised the importance of the GCC parliamentary visits in strengthening relations with Japan and mapping out policies, urging more joint parliamentary work among the GCC countries to achieve unity. They also praised deep-rooted historic ties binding the GCC countries, stressing keenness to bring about further achievements through collaborated work.
