Shura Council Chairman receives British ambassador

Manama, Jan. 14. (BNA) -- Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received here today the British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay. Al Saleh lauded Ambassador Lindsay's role in promoting bilateral relations and fruitful diplomatic cooperation, which, he said, has reflected positively on bilateral coordination in matters of common interest. They reviewed a number of topics pertaining to the parliamentary and democracy process in both the countries. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
