Shura Council chairman praises BCCI role

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received here today the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad. Al-Saleh valued highly the role played by BCCI to consolidate the kingdom’s status a leading regional financial, trade, tourism and investment centre, recalling its decades-long work and presence in the exhibitions and conferences tourism, and wishing it further success. He underlined the Shura Council’s keenness on enhancing effective partnership in boosting the national economy and upgrading its competitive potentials on the world’s investment and tourism map through passing the necessary legislation that support economic development in the kingdom. BCCI chief appreciated the Shura Council’s interest in extending bridges of cooperation and keenness on joining efforts to upgrade the performance of the national economy which will contribute to generating more job opportunities for the citizens and reflect positively on their standards of living.
