Shura Chairman meets Information Minister

Manama, Oct.11 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh stressed the importance of cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of government so as to bolster the march of development and progress. Receiving Information, Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi, he stressed the importance of continuing legislative, executive cooperation to ensure more achievements for Bahrain and its people. Al-Saleh commended the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for responding to the issues raised by the Shura Council. The two sides discussed legislative cooperation between the Shura Council and the Government in the coming period to achieve more positive results. Al-Hammadi commended the cooperation of the Shura Council with the Government, stressing the keenness of the executive authority on pursuing cooperation.
