Shura Chairman congratulates Egypt on new Suez Canal

Manama, Aug 5 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh has extended congratulations to Egypt's leadership and people on the inauguration of the new Suez Canal. Al Saleh took pride in the new Egyptian project which is an added value to the movement of investments and international navigation and a source of pride for Arab nation. He pointed out the deep-rooted relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Arab Republic of Egypt based on partnership, cooperation and coordination in the interest of their peoples. He noted the keenness HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi on uplifting the bilateral relations to higher level, wishing Egypt and its people continuous progress and security.
