"Shield of Nation 7" drill concludes

Manama, Nov. 18 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended today part of the final phase of the "Shield of Nation 7" drill which is performed by BDF in cooperation with the Interior Ministry and the National Guard. The BDF Commander-in-Chief stressed that training is a fundamental criterion to test military competence and assess the level and combat readiness of the participants in the drill. He lauded the efforts made in carrying out the military exercise, praising the high competence of the participants. He added the drill is part of cooperation between BDF, the Interior Ministry and the National Guard, stressing keenness on further developing military capabilities and boosting competence.
