Sheikh Mohamed bin Eid Foundation Carries Out 84 Projects in Kosovo

Doha, April 28 (QNA) - Sheikh Eid Al Thani Charity Foundation announced that it has implemented 84 development and seasonal projects in Kosovo over the past six years at the cost of more than QAR 17 million. Youssuf bin Mohammed Al Awadi, Head of the Resources Development at Eid Charity Foundation said the Foundation headed towards Kosovo during the war in the nineties, made efforts to help the people after the war, and provided since 2007 about QAR 17 million which covered the expenses of 84 structural, developmental, health and seasonal projects, in addition to sponsorship of orphans. In a press statement he referred to several projects that have been implemented during that period including the construction of Fatima Al Zahra Centre, Lulua bint Abdul Rahman Behzad, the Islamic Wakf (Endowment) project, in addition to health projects and others.(QNA)
