Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed showcases Invest-in-Culture

Cairo, Apr. 9 (BNA): The President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Information, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in the third session of the Arab League's Education, Culture and Sciences Organisation (ALECSO) series of lectures at the invitation of the Organisation's General Director, Dr. Abdullah Hamad Mohareb. In her lecture at the Egyptian Opera House, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa outlined Bahrain's cultural scene under the umbrella of "Invest-in-Culture" project, in the presence of officials, diplomats, literary and artistic personalities and the media. In his speech, Dr. Abdullah Hamad Mohareb praised Shaikha Mai's efforts in enrichment of the cultural scene in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad. He said the invitation by Alecso comes in recognition of her efforts that are appreciated by all. He said today we welcome Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa who is one of the contemporary Arab cultural symbols, who served and continue to serve the Arab culture through effective, innovative paths.
