Shaikh Nasser congratulates Bahrain leadership on F1 success

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended congratulations to the wise leadership on success of the 2015 Gulf Air Bahrain F1 Grand Prix, which was held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the home of motorsport in the Middle East. He congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the successful global motorsport event which showcased Bahrain's capabilities as a major host of international sporting events. He paid tribute to HRH the Crown Prince, hailing his pivotal role in ensuring the success of Bahrain GP and follow-up of all the arrangements taken by the ministries and government bodies. He pointed out that the growing number of spectators and the international mass media's interest in covering the race represent a clear index of success of the event. He also commended the dedicated efforts of BIC Board of Directors and staff before and during the thrilling night F1 race.
