Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed presents copies of his credentials to Dutch King

Amsterdam, Feb. 17 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to the United Kingdom Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of Bahrain leadership to the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander as well as their best wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Dutch people. This came as Shaikh Fawaz presented copies of his credentials to the Dutch monarch as Bahraini Non-Resident Ambassador to the Netherlands. He stressed Bahrain's keenness to bolster deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries. On his part, King Willem-Alexander conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, welcoming Shaikh Fawaz and wishing him every success. Shaikh Fawaz hosted a reception ceremony on the occasion which was attended by senior officials from the Dutch Foreign Ministry, ambassadors, businessmen and officials from Bahrain-based commercial companies. He also met during his visit with ambassadors from the GCC and Arab countries as well as officials from the Dutch Foreign Ministry and international organisations. He discussed with them regional and international issues of common interest.
