The SG Of The Cabinet Confirms Iraqi Govt's Interest In Int'l Relations And Their Development In Various Fields
Baghdad / NINA / - The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, affirmed the Iraqi government's interest in international relations and their development in all fields.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, during his meeting with the Indian Ambassador to Iraq Shri L. Prashant Pise, the importance of the bilateral relations that bind the two countries, and the Iraqi government's interest in developing them in all fields, especially the economic, commercial, and health levels.
Al-Ghazi praised the role of the Indian Ministry of Health for providing the necessary facilities for the treatment of Iraqis in Indian health institutions, and the measures taken by the Indian Embassy in granting the necessary facilities for the travel of patients.
The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers called on the Indian side to increase the seats allocated for study fellowships organized by the Indian side for degree holders in order to increase the exchange of experiences between the two sides in all fields, he called on Indian companies to enter the Iraqi arena to invest and contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq.
For his part, Ambassador Shri L. Prashant Pise affirmed that Iraq is the largest supplier of crude oil to India, welcoming the Iraqi government's invitation to Indian companies to work in Iraq in all fields, noting: "The Indian government is ready to provide support to the government and people of Iraq in various fields."/End
