Seoul hosts 5th meeting of Kyrgyz-Korean intergovernmental commission on cooperation

The 5th meeting of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Korean Commission on economic cooperation is being held in Seoul under the chairmanship of Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev. The current state of economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as promising areas of interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea are discussed during the meeting. The sides are considering issues of further development of trade and economic relations through the implementation of infrastructure and social projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, grant and technical assistance projects, the establishment of direct flights, business forums and business missions, the participation of the Korean Party in the digital transformation of the republic, cooperation through the green economy , industry, energy, tourism, culture, sports. Also, the sides reached an agreement to develop bilateral relations in the field of environment, healthcare, education, innovation, regional development, tax administration, youth policy, post, agriculture, etc.
