A Senior South Korean Delegation Will Visit Iraq Next Week

Baghdad, (NINA) - The South Korean Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that it would send a special envoy to Iraq at the head of a large delegation next week under the chairmanship of Korean special advisor Han Pyeong-do. "The delegation will come as part of efforts to improve bilateral relations between the two countries and with the new Iraqi government ," a ministry statement said. "The visit will take three days from next Monday," the ministry added. It explained that "The South Korean government delegation will include officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Construction, the Defense Insurance Agency and the South Korean companies for business in Iraq."/ End
