Seminar on concept of citizenship to be held tomorrow

Manama, Dec 20 (BNA): The National Constitutional Gathering Society tomorrow will hold a seminar titled "The concept of citizenship in the context of globalization". Press writer Buthaina Khalifa Qasim will address the seminar. She will tackle a number of topics, including the definition of citizenship; political development of the concept of citizenship; basics of citizenship and challenges facing citizenship in the context of globalization. The writer extended appreciation of the society's efforts in bolstering the basics of citizenship, one of the key indicators of modern democracy witnessed in the era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
