Security leadership seminar held

Manama, May 13 (BNA): The Royal Academy of Police (RAP) has held a seminar on security leadership. RAP Commandant Colonel Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was the keynote speaker in the forum which attracted participants enrolled in the leadership programme that was held under the supervision of the Interior Ministry.
The seminar aimed at meeting the latest security leadership trends in the world and training leaders so as to be able to run their directorates with competency. RAP commandant said the increasing security duties required good leadership to adjust to changes. He said that good leaders are capable of creating competent workforce through the adoption of the best contemporary leadership methods and the enhancement of the scientific skills of policemen for the best practices in strategic leadership and management. Leaders should learn to be a role model for others" he concluded. The participants highlighted some inspiring leadership projects that were implemented in the prorgamme.
