Security authorities praised

Manama, Oct. 2 (BNA): Imams across the kingdom have lauded the role and vigilance of the security authorities which resulted in seizing an unprecedented amount of internationally sourced explosives and bomb-making materials that were intended to be used in terror attacks, and arresting the perpetrators. They praised the security bodies for their patriotic efforts that safeguarded the kingdom and its people from terrorist and sabotage networks seeking evil to the country's security and the citizens' gains. Speaking during Friday sermons, the preachers affirmed that ensuring the security of the nation is the responsibility of all those living in it, stressing that they are, now more than ever, required to cooperate with the competent security bodies in order to protect the kingdom and its hard-won achievements. They said the seized explosives and weapons could have inflicted huge damage on the kingdom if they were used by those seeking to cause harm to it. The Imams praised the leadership's decision to recall the Bahraini Ambassador from Tehran and request the Iranian Chargé d'Affaires to leave the country within 72 hours, noting that the move was the result of Iran's repeated interference in the Kingdom's domestic affairs through repulsive statements and funding of terror and sabotage groups which do not deserve to belong to the homeland.
