SCYS Chairman receives Youth and Sport Affairs Minister

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): His Majesty the King's Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), received today Youth and Sport Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder. He listened to a detailed account on the ministry's programmes to boost the youth and sport movement in Bahrain and maximize achievements. He praised the ministry's efforts to promote the youth and sport sector, stressing the need for more programmes to ensure sustainability of the youth and sport accomplishments. The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister thanked Shaikh Nasser for his unflinching support to the ministry's activities, pledging resolve to carry out more initiatives to build on previous achievements.
