SCW, Standard Chartered Bank discuss cooperation

Manama , Oct 27 (BNA): Supreme Council for Women (SCW)'s Secretary General Hala Al-Ansari today received the Standard Chartered Bank Regional CEO for Africa, the Middle East, Sunil Kaushal. Al-Ansari pointed out the efforts of the SCW led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King, in promoting and empowering Bahraini women at all levels. She praised the Standard Chartered Bank's efforts in the integration of women at workplaces and enhancing their participations in the development of the national economy. And its programs, implemented in eight secondary schools in cooperation with the SCW and Education Ministry, designed to disseminate financial culture. Kaushal lauded the SCW's President's efforts aimed at uplifting the status of the Bahraini women and reinforcing there partnership with men to achieve the comprehensive development requirements.
