SCW, CBB announce conference speaker

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), today announced senior banker Chanda Kochhar as a speaker for the upcoming "Women in the Financial and Banking Sector Conference" on 30 November under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW. Chanda Kochhar is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank Limited, India’s largest private sector bank. She is widely recognised for her role in shaping the retail banking sector in India and her role in numerous forums and organisations globally. She has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry and began her career with ICICI in 1984.
