Saudi-Qatari Joint Technical Committee Holds Meeting

Riyadh, November 23 (QNA) - The Saudi-Qatari Joint Technical Committee on Land and Sea Borders began on Wednesday its 15th session at the headquarters of General Survey Authority in Riyadh. The Saudi side to the Committee was headed by Chief of the General Survey Authority Murie bin Hasan Al-Shahrani, while the Qatari Side was led by HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Follow-up Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chief of the Saudi side welcomed the Qatari delegation and hoped that the two sides succeed in achieving the tasks entrusted to them, adding that this meeting was a complementary to the Committee's previous meetings. Al Rumaihi said he and his colleagues were happy to attend the meeting and expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for the reception and generous hospitality accorded to them. A joint report on the progress of work of the committee was submitted and discussed. (QNA)
