Saudi monarch, HRH Premier hold talks

Riyadh, Oct. 25 (BNA): The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received here today His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, in the presence of the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH the Prime Minister conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Saudi Monarch, and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to Saudi Arabia.
King Salman and HRH Premier Prince Khalifa affirmed that the specific nature of the Bahraini-Saudi relations has contributed to enhancing complementarity and boosting cooperation between them.
The Saudi monarch reiterated his country's firm stance in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields.
HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are linked by long-standing fraternal ties and common destiny, adding that bilateral ties are constantly strengthened.
"The deep relations bonding the two brotherly countries have been-and will remain- a role model as they are based on a long history of interaction, mutual love and joint action," HRH Premier said.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded the Saudi leadership's far-sighted visions, wisdom in dealing with various situations, constant support to the right and unwavering resolve to confront everything that may affect Arabs and Muslims. Which, he said, has earned it worldwide respect.
HRH Premier praised Saudi Arabia's continuous support to the Kingdom of Bahrain in all circumstances, stressing the Saudi support will remain engraved in the national memory.
On regional issues, HRH Premier asserted that the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in brotherly Yemen has restored hope in the Arab solidarity and its ability to deal firmly with attempts to interfere into Arab domestic affairs.
It also confirmed the wise vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the leading role of Saudi Arabia to safeguard the security and unity of Arab countries and maintain its historical status as the protective bulwark for Arabs, he said, adding that Bahrain's participation in the Arab Coalition reflects its commitment to the common destiny of Arab countries and peoples.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Prime Minister reviewed the latest regional and global developments.
The Saudi Monarch hosted a lunch banquet in honour of HRH the Prime Minister, in the presence of the Saudi Crown Prince, princes senior Saudi state officials.
